Designer Brittany Hutt specified Fieldstone Cabinetry’s Belair door in Rustic Alder Toffee with a Chocolate Glaze and Rope crown molding. The modern beveled white subway tile contrasts against the Toffee colored door, so a quartz countertop with cohesive colors was chosen. Bradshaw™ from Cambria has rust colored specks and swirling tones of beige, greys and white that work to tie in the colors throughout the kitchen. For the hardware, a Brushed Satin Nickel Somerset Cup Pull and Hollow Round Knob was chosen from Top Knobs Hardware. The kitchen features a peninsula with an overhang for eating as well as an open floor plan that flows into a space for more formal dining. Covering the corner wall next to the fridge in Emperador Split Face Rock Tile from Tesoro added texture, dimension, and transformed a bland wall into an interesting feature.
For the kitchen and living room flooring, the homeowners worked with Brad Warburton. Keeping with the traditional design of the overall space, a classic handscraped hardwood floor was chosen. The hardwood is Rustic Accents Acacia in Old World from Armstrong, and has beautiful variations of red and brown tones.
